Neutro grew up in the Caracas neighborhood of Artigas where his family lives today. One of his favorite hobbies is boxing, a sport he practiced from the age of 8 until he was 17. He owes his stage name, Neutro Shorty, to his friends in the neighborhood who named him this way in reference to his patience. Neutro has been a percussionist since he was a child and recently learned to play the guitar.

His motivation to become a singer was his family. His favorite rappers and main inspiration were Eminem and Tupac. At the age of 13 he dropped out of school to dedicate his time fully to music. Since then and until he was 17 years old he worked as an amateur rapper. In 2013 he released his first album "19 puntos" on the internet, marking an important milestone in his musical life. The name of the album refers to his age at the time. His first song "Chicos Estúpidos" was recorded over the instrumental of Eminem's "My Name is".

His musical career began at the age of 13 with freestyle, a style in which he remained until the age of 17 when he began recording his songs professionally. In 2012 he released "5 Historias: The Mixtape", a compilation of 5 songs. In 2013 he released the album "19 Puntos", which included songs such as "Éramos Amigos", "Noches en la Platabanda" and "No llames Más" of great popularity in Venezuela. In 2014 he presented together with Treizy the album "Buena Mierda" including tracks such as "Desde un Bloque",''Bruja" and ''Fantasmas". In 2015, under his own label "Los Vatos Inc.", he released his album "El Negocio Sucio", with tracks such as "Los Buenos Tiempos", "Drogata", "Liomar Masacre", and "Maquito".

In 2017 he made an appearance at the fifth edition of the Premios Pepsi Music contest held at the Centro Empresarial Polar Auditorium, performing the song "El Reloj". In 2018 he was nominated for the "Trap" category at the Premios Pepsi Music resulting winner and premiered the song "Cantante" together with Corina Smith and Big Soto. On October 13, 2018 he premiered the single "Bad Boy". In 2019 he collaborated with rapper Ñengo Flow in the song "Pa` Los Mios". At the end of 2020 he premieres his most recent record production, "Humble Boyz".

With fellow singer, Big Soto, Neutro shares not only singles but an entire album called "Apokalypsis" which features 8 tracks. His most recent production, "Humble Boyz", is one of his most ambitious albums as it features great international collaborations that have strengthened his presence in markets outside of Venezuela. Humble Boyz contains a total of 15 songs, 7 of which are featuring other artists.

Neutro's career has been accompanied by great collaborations with national and international artists that have helped him boost his musical career such as Akapellah, Big Soto, Micro TDH, Jon Z, Ñengo Flow, Ky-Mani Marley, Aleman, ECKO, Santa Fe Klan, Duki, C.R.O, Miky Woodz, among others.
